Miss Lauren is an enthusiastic, kind-hearted, and adventurous young woman with a passion for making a difference in our world.
She received her BA in Child and Adolescent Development, Preparation for Teaching from San Jose State University in 2017. While in school, she also volunteered for Reading Partners, in which she delivered individualized one-on-one tutoring, following by a structured curriculum to kindergarteners
During her time at school, Lauren was a quality nanny, in which she experienced meaningful and irreplaceable relationships with several wonderful children and their families. After graduating college, Miss Lauren volunteered with KPMG, a program that provides children from low-income families with their own new books — and in many cases, their very first book. She worked with several elementary schools in Silicon Valley, helping to motivate students to learn how to love reading.
As a preschool teacher, Miss Lauren understands that the first five years of life are incredibly precious and delicate, and when a child’s experiences are positive, it can help shape and mold their brains to insure a happy and successful future.
Miss Lauren grew up and currently lives in the Willow Glen area of San Jose. She loves to garden, snowboard, surf, wakeboard, fish, camp, and spend time with her friends and family.
