Meet Miss Isabel
Miss Isabel Teacher
Miss Isabel is a bubbly, humorous, loving, and kind-hearted teacher with a firm held belief that school should be fun and digestible.
 
Miss Isabel’s teaching experience ranges from preschool/TK through middle school.  Before beginning her teaching career, Isabel volunteered at the Asian Law Alliance, where she assisted clients with applications for citizenship, DACA and DACA renewals, Petitions, etc.  Prior to her start at Learning Pathways, Miss Isabel was a bilingual teacher at a Spanish Immersion school in San Jose.  She also served as a Site Coordinator for Reading Partners, managing a Title I school's reading program providing individualize one-on-one tutoring.
 
Miss Isabel's motto is "All students learn differently" and excels in providing differentiated teaching strategies for her students.  She loves to incorporate music, humor, and art into her day-to-day lessons to enhance learning and engagement.
 
Miss Isabel earned her BA in Child and Adolescent Development (Preparation for Teaching) from San José State University.  She was born and raised in San José.  Isabel enjoys local hikes and new eateries in the Bay Area.
