Miss Viridiana, or Viri was born in Los Angeles, CA, with Mexican roots. She began her teaching journey in 2018 obtaining her Early Childhood Education units and certification from San Jose City College. Viri later transferred to San Jose State, where she proudly graduated as a first Gen in her family with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies.
Before joining us at Learning Pathways, Miss Viri worked at a variety of different schools. She was a teacher at Pasitos Spanish Immersion School in San Jose, a Summer School Bilingual Aide at Prospect High School in Saratoga, a Leadership Program Coordinator Intern at Breakthrough of Silicon Valley in San Jose, and a teacher at the Stockfarm Children’s Center at Stanford in Palo Alto.
Viri describes her passion for teaching children and being able to connect with their families as indescribable. “I don't see this as a job. I see it as an opportunity to cultivate and water the seed of self-love in each child that I teach and empower them to believe anything is possible. Making teaching fun and putting smiles on my students is what makes this path I chose worth everything.”
With her contagious smile, her passion for children, and her incredibly high energy level, Miss Viri is the perfect addition to Learning Pathways.
